An introduction to Plus500

Our Plus500 review should begin with an introduction to the brand. Plus500 is a CFD service broker founded in Israel by six friends in 2008 and launched in 2008. The idea was born when one of the founders, Alon Gonen, tried to “short” Microsoft shares from the most prominent broker, IG Group. The registration process on IG seemed too complicated and unfriendly to the user. The future founders of Plus500 decided that they would try to do a better job than the existing platforms and so started working on Plus500. In 2014, Plus500 had about 1 million clients and conducted more than 2 million transactions a month. Plus500 Ltd. is listed on the AIM section of the London Stock Exchange.

Plus500 markets

Currently, Plus500 offers a broad range of investment possibilities within the main markets: shares, commodities, indices, forex, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). If you are not into, for example, single stocks, you can invest further in indices such as the British FSTE, the German DAX, the Dow Jones, or whatever you choose. The advantage of an index is that you don’t have to be an expert within a single stock but can invest in a range of different companies simultaneously.

It can be a great idea for new investors to see Wikipedias page about Foreign Exchange markets.

Plus Mobile

Since more and more people use their mobile devices, smartphones, or tablets when they invest, your broker must offer a mobile solution. Plus500 provides a mobile solution to invest when you are up for it and when the markets are good. Sometimes you may have the right strategy but are too busy to sit at home and invest; then, you can use the Plus500 mobile device solution to invest at the right time. In the first quarter of 2013, made all Plus500 transactions via a smartphone or a tablet.

Plus500 Customer Support

Plus500 and Athletic de Madrid

Plus500 probably could not believe their luck when they became the primary sponsor on Athletic de Madrid. Since then, Athletic de Madrid has established itself as one of Spain’s top clubs and the Champions League. Even though the sponsorship deal probably has paid off in publicity, there is no doubt that the deal cost the online trading company millions of €.

So the result is that it is possible to see the logo from Plus500 trading on the chest of Fernando Torres, Antoine Griezmann, and Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.

Plus500 has halted all promotions

From April 2017, Plus 500 has decided to follow regulator CySEC and has halted all promotions. In the future, Plus500 will compete on low spreads and no commission instead.

We welcome the initiative and look forward to seeing how the top CFD and spread betting brands will take on the small and more risk-promoting enterprises in the future.

Plus500 Review

Our evaluation of Plus500 is that it is excellent forex or stock or commodities, CFD broker. The usability is excellent, and it is straightforward to get around on the website.

What is less significant in our Plus500 review are the spreads. Plus500 charges a little more on the spread than some brokers that many professionals use, such as ETX Capital. Nevertheless, it is an ok first forex broker.

Again, please remember not to use more money on a CFD platform than you can afford to lose. More than plenty of people for every trading millionaire for which the CFD experience cost them money.
